Fayetteville Internet began in 1998 as a provider of dial-up Internet services to Fayetteville and Cumberland County, North Carolina and the surrounding areas. As the demand for broadband connectivity increased, they also offered DSL.
After several years of business, Faynet purchased two other Internet service providers, A Perfect Connection (APCnet) and Netquick.
In 2008 Faynet decided to turn its services more towards commercial business and ceased offering Internet connectivity and concentrated more on Web hosting and related services. In August of 2008 Brain Box, Inc., a local Web development firm, acquired Faynet's equipment, systems, and customers.
Brain Box, Inc. has retained the name, Fayetteville Internet, to represent its Web hosting services. Since the merger, Faynet has been consistantly working on two things:
- Improving upon the great customer service already offered
- Expanding the number of services offered so that our clientele have available to them everything they could possibly need to do business on the World Wide Web
